I started blogging back in 2014, when I was pregnant with my firstborn.. my son, Amare. I really enjoyed it, but then I went back to work after maternity leave and was overwhelmed with being a new working mom and feeling pressure to stay consistent with blogging… which then lead to hitting a creative block. Then, in 2016/2017 I ended up closing down my website.
Now here we are… fast forward to January of 2023 and I am starting a new blog, a new website & relaunching with a brand new mindset and attitude.
I have been working at the same company now, for going on 7 years and just recently welcomed my second born… another boy, named Ameer. He just turned 18 months old this past weekend. ♥︎
In October 2021, I started a secondary Instagram profile @mammaandmoore.blog where I shared my passion for easy DIYs, styling on a budget, holiday home decor, etc.
It started out as something that I did for fun for myself, not the “mom me” or “wife me”, but just my own personal hobby… and now I want to grow it into something more. On this blog I will be sharing more in depth posts co ordinating with my Instagram profile as well as additional ideas/thoughts I would like to share.
